State College Youth Wrestling (SCYW) supports elementary (K-6th) students from the State College Area School District.  We are entirely run by volunteers dedicated to coaching wrestling in a fun and friendly environment. Coaches teach these athletes about wrestling and help them to discover the potential of their internal strength.  We are part of the Keystone Junior Wrestling League, which is a group of similar programs who hold competitions and scrimmages throughout the season, with a league tournament at the end of the season.  The competitions and scrimmages are fun, but not required.  If you have questions about our program, please email us [email protected].

SCYW is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission of increasing awareness and participation in the sport of wrestling within State College.  Theis is accomplished by developing and promoting a basic understanding and appreciate of wrestling on the apart of both parents and youngsters, and to prepare both for the next levels of wrestling in State College’s junior high and high school programs.
